CRM Update: Statistics, Zapier Integration, Custom Fields and More

TeamWave CRM’s latest update has several new features and enhancements. As always, most of them are driven by customer feedback, so please continue to send us your suggestions and requirements.

– The all new CRM Statistics

The new “statistics” feature helps you quickly view stats related to sales performance, pipeline performance and effort that has gone into sales activities. Choose all the pipelines or a specific pipeline along with timeline (week, month, quarter, year) to visualize the stats.  You can slice and dice the result at a granular level to answer following types of questions:

  • What is the deal closure rate when a deal moves to a particular sales stage?
  • Value of the deals in different sales stages?
  • Is person X better at converting deals in comparison to person Y? Who has closed more valuable deals?
  • What is the conversion rate of different salespersons when it comes to moving deals from one sales stage to another?
  • Which sales person has added what type of sales task? What is the rate of completion of different sales activities?

CRM Statistics Improved

– Zapier Integration

A lot of users wanted to capture data from different sources and move it into CRM. To address this we are starting off with Zapier integration for creating deals. Zapier can be used to establish a connection between TeamWave and other apps. To do that you need to create a Zap – basically a conditional connection which is triggered when a certain event takes place. Example: if I get a new lead via my online form, create a corresponding deal in TeamWave.

– Activity Sync with Google Calendar

If you have enabled Google Calendar, all of your sales activities will be synced with Google Calendar. Apart from the consolidated activity reminder email sent by TeamWave, Google will also remind you when it is time for you to get on a client call, send an email, prepare for a demo or anything else. If you have not yet enabled Google Calendar, you can do so from the integration section.

– Custom Fields

Although TeamWave CRM comes with basic data fields to capture deal and contact details, you would eventually need additional fields in order to accommodate your unique business requirements and improve the sales efficiency.

Let’s take the example of capturing leads. Leads can be captured from different sources – website, whitepaper download, Facebook ads, SlideShare, trade shows, etc. There is a context behind the interest expressed by the lead and the sales activities pertaining to the lead needs to be crafted in a specific way.  Apart from this, something as simple as contact person’s birthday can also be used to build relationship. All these scenarios can be handled via Custom Fields.

Deal Custom Fields

After creating relevant custom fields, you can add details in the deal/contact details page and select required fields in the list view as well.

– Tags

Tags are great for segmentation of deals, contact persons and organisations. It can be used for classification on the basis of your relationship (client, vendor or partner), business domain of the prospect, location etc. Say for example a sales person wants to find out the deals which are from European region and prospect type as re-seller. It can be easily done by creating and adding these two tags. Then in the pipeline/list/timeline view of the deals these tags can be used to refine the view.

 – Bulk Deal Import

Moving from another CRM solution with existing data exported to spreadsheets? Collected huge amount of leads using web forms? TeamWave lets you easily import all your deals from CSV/XLS/XLSX files. Just map the CRM fields with the spreadsheet columns and you’re ready to go.

CRM Update: Tags, Search, Deal Followers and Google Calendar Integration

After our last release in November, we’ve shipped new features and fixed bugs to make TeamWave better. Updates include CRM search functionality, tags, option to add deal followers, Google Calendar integration and much more. This post will introduce you to the product improvements and keep you updated on what’s new.

CRM Search

Now deals, contact persons and organizations are just a search away in CRM. Simply start typing the name and we’ll show you the segregated result.

Categorize Your Deals & Contacts with Tags

Tags are the keywords that can be used to categorize deals, contact persons and organizations. You can create tags to classify your deals and contacts based on your relationship (client, vendor or partner), business domain, location etc. Tags are very powerful for segmentation, as you can add multiple tags to a single contact/deal. For example, one organization can be tagged as both “USA” and “Ad-tech”.

Deal Followers

Want to share the deal details with your team members? Just add them as followers to the specific deals! They will be able to visualize ALL the actions taken by the deal owner. Not only that, followers can also schedule activities, add notes and upload files. This is one more step towards team collaboration in CRM.

Bulk delete contacts

Many of the uploaded contacts become obsolete over time and deleting them one by one is something none like to do. Now, just select the contacts using the check box and click on “Delete Contacts” to remove them from your account.

Edit deals in the list view

The list view section gives you overview of the deals, their stage, value, organisation and expected close date. Editing right from the list view lets you change these deal details without going to the individual page.

Add multiple contacts to deals

Selling to businesses often involves dealing with multiple decision makers from the prospect’s side and it makes sense to have them linked to the deals. With this improvement, you can link or add multiple contact persons to a single deal.

Improved activity page

This section lets you document activities associated with the deal, contact person and organization. But, with time the number of activities start growing more and more. Now the improved activity page will help you prioritize your work and concentrate on important ones by showing the overdue activities in red and activities for that day in green.

Also the number of activities at the top of the “Activity” link in the CRM navigation will act as a constant reminder and keep you on your toes.

Link new contacts and organizations from anywhere

We have made it easier for you to add or link new contacts and organization from any section, be it the deal page, contact person or organization details page. Now there is no need to add contact first to link to existing deal.

Big Update: 60 Enhancements in 60 Days!

Well, not quite, but you get the point, don’t you? This is the first update since our beta launch back in September, and it is big. New features; bug fixes; design changes; performance tweaks; what’s in the name? They all have one thing in common. They make TeamWave better. Here are the top ten reasons why you’ll love this update.

CRM and Project management, together

Any file associated with a deal in CRM can now be linked to a project as well, for cross-referencing. We believe that files are the common ground for both modules, and this will pave way for deeper integration.

Dynamic dashboard – your account at a glance

dashboard

For time-sensitive updates that you need to know as and when they happen, look no further than your dashboard. The gist of critical happenings on CRM and Projects will be accessible from the account dashboard.

Importing contacts – now more the merrier

Too long you’ve had to add contacts one by one. No longer. With Google Contacts Sync and file import option (.csv, .xls, .xlsx), you can import chunks of contacts in no time.

Email Piping

For a start, you can add contacts to your CRM module right from your mailbox. All you need to do is send an email to your CRM. This also makes it easier to create a deal out of the forwarded email.

New in Projects

Integration with popular file storage services – Dropbox and Google Drive

integrations

The two most popular file storage services are now integrated with TeamWave. That means no more redundant uploads. You can link your files on these services, to any task or discussion on TeamWave and collaborate with members of your team.

Tasks – Divide and conquer

Frankly, there is nothing anyone can do about the ever-growing list. But the way you see it is up to us. That is why we’ve added three new views; completed task view for every project, tasks from all projects and a progress page.

Project templates

If many of your projects have the same levels of discretion, participants and tasks, you can now replicate a project and make only the few necessary changes to it rather than creating each one from scratch.

Email Piping

Just as in CRM, you can add tasks and start discussions just by forwarding an email to a unique project ID. These emails can be associated as references to tasks and can be referred by any participant.

New in HRMS

Employee management

The full-fledged profile of employees, including reporting hierarchy, is our first step towards an all-wise HRMS. Though it all begins here, we have executed this keeping in mind the bigger things to happen next. Time logging, on-boarding and leave management for instance.

That is not all. We’ve also introduced labelled files, a page to track progress of deals, rotten deal alerts and a whole lot more. We would love for you to check them out. Even more for you to tell us and the world, what you think of them. Try TeamWave today
